FAQ

Product Fit

What kind of trader is ClearPath designed for?

ClearPath is designed for swing and position traders who operate primarily on the 4‑Hour through Weekly timeframes. It is best suited for traders who value:

  • context and structure over speed,

  • risk awareness over trade frequency,

  • disciplined frameworks over reactive signals.

ClearPath is intentionally not designed for scalping or ultra‑short‑term trading.

Is ClearPath a signal service?

No.ClearPath is not a signal service and does not provide buy/sell alerts, trade recommendations, or predictions. It is a decision‑support framework designed to help traders understand market conditions, structural alignment, and timing context. All trade decisions remain with the user.

What timeframes is ClearPath intended for?

ClearPath is designed and validated for:

  • 4 Hour

  • 8 Hour

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • And anything in between

Lower timeframes may distort regime clarity and structure. While ClearPath can technically be used on lower timeframes, it is not recommended.

Does ClearPath work for both equities and crypto?

Yes.ClearPath is intentionally asset‑agnostic. While equities and crypto differ in volatility and behavior, the same framework — regime, structure, and timing — applies consistently across both.

Behavior & Expectations

Why doesn’t ClearPath show signals all the time?

Because most market conditions do not justify action.ClearPath is intentionally restrictive. Long periods without signals are normal and expected, especially during:

  • Neutral environments

  • consolidation phases

  • structural transitions

Silence is often the correct output.

Why are there no signals during Neutral environments?

This is by design.Neutral environments represent conditions where internal signals conflict and risk‑reward is inconsistent. ClearPath intentionally blocks directional participation during Neutral regimes to prevent over‑trading and reaction to noise.

Why is the Environment Gauge based on the Weekly timeframe?

Market regimes do not change meaningfully every few hours.ClearPath anchors the Environment Gauge to the Weekly timeframe to provide stability, consistency, and resistance to noise. Lower timeframes inherit this context rather than redefining it.

Why doesn’t the Environment flip on lower‑timeframe charts?

Because lower‑timeframe price action does not override higher‑timeframe conditions.ClearPath explicitly prevents intraday reactions from redefining regime context. This avoids context whiplash and supports disciplined decision‑making.

Interpreting Outputs

What exactly does Trend Clarity do?

Trend Clarity provides structural alignment context. It answers one question:

  • Is price structure aligned directionally within the current environment?

Trend Clarity is not a signal, not momentum, and does not predict breakouts or reversals.

What does a Momentum Pulse mean?

A Momentum Pulse highlights a thrust event that occurred within permitted context.

  • Green ▲ indicates a permissible bullish impulse.

  • Red ▼ indicates a permissible bearish impulse.

It does not guarantee continuation or require action. It indicates that conditions do not discourage participation.

Why are Momentum Pulses so infrequent?

Because high‑quality opportunities are infrequent.Momentum Pulse is event‑based, not continuous. Long quiet periods reflect consolidation, uncertainty, or deteriorating internal conditions — not malfunction.

What does the yellow exhaustion warning mean?

The yellow dot is not a sell signal. It indicates increased exhaustion risk: a thrust occurred, but conditions blocked participation and price was already extended relative to structure. It is a risk‑management cue, not a prediction.

Boundaries & Responsibility

Can I change the internal settings or thresholds?

No.ClearPath’s core logic is intentionally hard‑locked. This protects consistency, interpretability, and the integrity of the framework. User‑configurable settings are limited to visual preferences.

Is ClearPath guaranteed to be profitable?

No.No trading tool can guarantee results.
ClearPath is designed to improve decision quality and reduce low‑probability trades. Outcomes depend on execution, risk management, and discipline.

Final Note

ClearPath is designed to help traders:

  • see markets more clearly,

  • act more intentionally,

  • and accept inactivity as a valid decision.

If ClearPath encourages you to trade less, that is often a success.
